Stretchmarks can occur in both men and women of different height, weight, and skin color, They are the result of growth sprouts, bodybuilding, breast implants, weight gain, or child birth. There is no proven remedy to prevent stretch marks and no one is avert to getting them.
We have the ability to improve the look of stretch marks with both FDA-approved fractional laser skin resurfacing or dermal needling treatments. Although either modality can be used we at Denver Laser Solutions have found that through our practice the 1540 fractional laser is actually more comfortable and yields a higher rate of client satisfaction. Therefore unless a client specifically requests dermal needling for stretch mark improvement, our go to is fractional laser.
The purpose of our fractional non-ablative skin resurfacing laser is to help promote the production of elastin. Heated micro-columns cause a wound in the skin which creates a natural healing response promoting the production of collagen and elastin. This tightens and ultimately shrinks the appearance of the stretch marks so they fade more naturally into the skin. Our price per treatment includes areas such as the tummy, hips, inner thighs, outer thighs, buttocks, shoulders and breasts.
A minimum of three treatment is recommended.

How does laser stretch mark removal work?
The same laser that is used for skin resurfacing and scars removal will also improve the look of your stretch marks. Since stretched skin has lost its elasticity, our goal at Denver Laser Solutions is to help you regain it! The laser causes a controlled damage to the skin allowing it to heal naturally. The results of this are production of collagen and elastin (connective tissues in your skin). Then your stretch marks shrink and fade more naturally into the skin.
How does this compare to other stretch mark removal therapies?
The 1540 non-ablative fractional laser device is used at our clinic for treatment of stretch marks. It was the first laser to receive clearance for the treatment of striae (stretch marks) from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This makes us Denver's leading stretch mark removal treatment center.
Does laser stretch mark removal hurt?
This sensation created by the treatment may be described as multiple pin pricks. And because stretch marks tend to be located on the body in a large area, we do recommend applying a topical numbing cream. Do so approximately 45 minutes prior to your stretch mark removal session to make the treatment more comfortable.
How many treatments will I need?
A minimum of three stretch mark removal treatments is needed to see results. Because results are subjective, we analyze your results by comparing before and after photos approximately one month after your third treatment.
What should I expect after treatment?
We recommend wearing comfortable, loose fitting clothes to your appointment as you will experience some heat and tenderness in the treated area. Redness and slight swelling is to be expected and may last up to three weeks post. A topical healing agent will be applied and ice packs are recommended intermittently for several hours after to help mitigate this effect.
